“Capturing Nature’s Gift” is an essential step forward in Harit Disha Foundation’s mission to build a more water-resilient future. As the world grapples with climate change, shrinking water sources, and unpredictable rainfall, rainwater harvesting offers a simple yet powerful solution. This campaign is rooted in the wisdom of nature—making the most of what already falls from the sky.
Through this initiative, we are reaching rural and semi-urban communities with a clear message: every drop of rain is a lifeline. We aim to spread awareness, provide hands-on support to build harvesting systems to reclaim the gift of rain that often goes to waste.
Your contribution fuels the foundation of change. With rising costs and limited access to materials, many communities simply cannot afford to set up harvesting systems on their own. That’s where your donation comes in. By supporting this campaign, you’re enabling us to provide the necessary tools, infrastructure, and training required to install rainwater harvesting setups across water-stressed regions.
We provide everything—from PVC pipes, mesh screens, and flush diverters, to large tanks and natural filters that ensure clean storage. Each setup can transform the water reality for an entire household or school, creating access to thousands of liters of usable water per season. And the best part? It’s nature-friendly, low-maintenance, and long-lasting.
Every rupee plays a part in building an entire ecosystem of water conservation. For ₹350, you provide one essential PVC pipe. For ₹250, we can install a mesh screen to keep debris out. With ₹1000, you help us build a first flush diverter to filter out the initial dirty rainwater. A contribution of ₹530 supports a mesh filter for additional cleaning, while ₹1000 gives us enough sand and gravel to build a full brass filtration unit. And a generous donation of ₹15,000 helps us install a 5000-liter plastic water tank—a game-changer for any family or school.
Together, these components form a complete rainwater harvesting system that is efficient, low-cost, and incredibly impactful. They not only store rainwater but ensure it remains clean and usable for months.
We don’t just install and walk away. Our team conducts awareness sessions, site surveys, and hands-on training so that local communities can manage and maintain the systems themselves. Our model is sustainable, scalable, and deeply rooted in community ownership. Once the system is in place, families no longer need to walk kilometers for water or rely on expensive tanker services.
This campaign is not a one-time fix—it is a long-term solution that aligns with our core belief: when nature gives, we must learn to preserve.
